To use The Story
Generator Cube Set:
-
Each child completes a photocopiable
character and setting sheet to give them a basic background. -
Six of the character
and setting
development cards are put into the clear
pockets on the facets
of the large inflatable cube. -
Pupils simply roll or
throw the cube 2-3
times to determine further character traits
- eg special hobby etc. -
Five sets of six Story Mountain cards are
then used to establish events and find appropriate language during different stages
of the story including the opening, build-up, problems, resolution
and an ending. - Prompt cards and challenge cards can be used to add further details.
