Bags of Fun!
We've packaged both the Sue Palmer's Synthetic Phonix sets with a drawstring bag - a "Bag of Sounds" for Set 1 and a "Bag of Spellings" for Set 2. Each child (or group of children) builds up their own collections of cubes as they learn the phonemes in Set 1, and phonemes and spellings
in Set 2. The contents of the bag are also shown on the front label - so children can chart their progress as they are learning about new
sounds. Additionally, the label of Set 2 also illustrates how some of the sounds in Set 1 are represented by different spellings in Set 2, so it helps pupils by offering various options to choose from when spelling out new words. And, as these handy bags are brought out for each session, your pupils have plenty of opportunities for revising and word building!
