Broadbent-maths

KS1 and 2 oral and mental maths work has never been
so much fun!
Round the Class cards are
22 sets of 30 cards which
focus on particular areas of Maths at KS1 and 2.
Each card features an answer on the left hand side and a question on the right. Each question leads to an answer
on one of the 30 cards... but who has got the card?
To help you differentiate, they feature subtle colour coding to show the levels of difficulty of the answer on the left hand side of the card:
1 yellow parrot - easier
cards for lower attainers

How to play:
1. Each child is given a card.
All the cards must be used in
a game, so some children
may have more than one
card if there are less than 30 children in the class.
2. Any child starts by reading
the question on the right hand side of their card. The child with the answer stands up, says the answer aloud and then reads out the question
on their card.
3. This continues until all 30
cards have been read and it loops back to the first child
who asked their question.
The number on their card will be the answer to the final question and therefore the
end of the game.
